I know I haven't posted ina while. School is out until August. So I hope to rest some and catch-up on projects I didn't finish last summer. Wedding plans this time last year came before anything else. Bible Camp is coming up too! I'm really looking forward to it this year. Ash's mom (Denise) is going to be my co-counselor and we are going to have a great week!

Everyone I hang out with here has travel plans the next two weeks, so I'll keep busy here. Laundry will finally get caught up. How often do I get to go to the big mall across town and make a whole day of it? Most times I'm on a time schedule. I need to catch some sales and find some new "breathable" clothes for camp. Each summer seems hotter than the year before! Probably just me though.(Right, Jess?)

My physical is this Thursday, I'm always glad when it's over. I have a wonderful doctor who I like, I still hate going...
I'm watching my sugar intake, so I'm hoping my blood sugar count will be normal like last year's was. Splenda, yes!

I've discovered so many things I can do with Splenda now. I've learned breads and cakes won't bake right is I don't use the "baking" Splenda. It looks funny to have your chocolate poundcake look like a cheesecake when you use the regular Splenda instead of the baking kind. Cookies do great with the regular though.

My car is eleven years old this month. I'm having it's tune-up done this week and then cross my fingers that it will pass inspection.

Laundry calls.... leave some love!

I had a wonderful long Easter weekend with Chris and Jess. I'm always sad to leave but happy to be home too.

Classes with Jess on Monday and Tuesday we fun and interesting too! Jess took me to a flea market she often goes to and I got in trouble!
Jess had shown me her billfold she found last time she went that is a "Brighton" knock-off! I was beside myslelf, I had to go! So, Saturday we went there and the lady who has the Brighton look-alikes was there. I found a handbag I love (was actually the one Jess almost got for me!) I also found a billfold that matched! I picked up a set for good friend of mine here for her birthday.( she loves Brighton too!) Paying $28. is a lot better than paying $260. for the real handbag. I found the original online mine is modeled after online while ago. Very similar! The billfold was just $12!

Karen, You'll need to have Jess take you next time you are visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to share the craziness of our trip home:

Our flight was delayed a bit from leaving Detroit due to the fact we didn't have a pilot yet. After we boarded our plane to leave Detroit for NC, We were told we still were waiting for our pilot to arrive. Robert jokingly said to me, "they are still trying to sober him up..." Several folks applauded when the pilot finally came on the plane.
After we landed in Raleigh's Airport, we were told we couldn't leave the plane yet because they were having some trouble connnecting the hallway that is our walkway from the plane to the terminal. The waited a bit and repeated this to us again about three more times! Our bodies were more than ready to get off that plane and we just shook our heads. THEN they told us they would try to connect "air-steps" to our plane. When we finally were able to leave the plane, what did we find in front of us? We found very STEEP WOBBLEY steps going down from the plain with a wobbly walk way we had to step up on to finish our journey to the terminal!

I can say this much, this has never happened before and we felt bad for a lady who was last to get off the plane. She had to be helped with a wheelchair.

I have goofy pictures to come later. Those of you who are in the pictures, let me know if it will be easier for y'all if I email you a link to them or place them on my facebook.
Huggles!

Currently Listening: Kraus: Symphonies Vol. 1
I know, it's been forever since I have posted. I've been too pooped from the stress of working with kids all day to even think about sitting down to post. I'm home for the second day in a row with sinus crud...

The wind has been kicking up the pollen here and my head has been throbbing from it. I've just decided that I will begin using/wearing the white allergy masks when I take the kids out for recess. I'll look goofy, but I don't care at this point! The burning pain above my eyes and my achy teeth, make the masks look really attractive to me! I may even start a new fashion trend with the other teachers!

So if you see a strange lady on the playground tomorrow, it will be me!

I'm getting my hair cut this afternoon. Hard to belive after years of my hair being so long, that when it's a bit below my shoulders, it feels too long and bothersome! Best part, it will dry faster! Yea-ness! Life's simple pleasures!

Hugs,
Leave some love!
